Organizations I Believe In

These are just a few causes/organizations I feel strongly about. There are plenty of worthy organizations out there, but if I don't focus I get overwhelmed!
Peace Games
"Peace Games empowers students to create their own safe classrooms and communities by forming partnerships with elementary schools, families and young adult volunteers." I used to work with them and still believe strongly in their mission statement.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
My family has been touched a number of times by breast cancer, so I know how devastating it can be.
Make-a-Wish Foundation
"Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities."

This describes me to a "t". This is the forum for Scanners... a place where we're understood and people don't call us "flaky" or "flighty."
