Morkie-poo puppies are a lovely tri-breed of Maltese, Yorkie, and Poodle. In the network of family hobby breeders we belong too, there have been two litters of Morkie-poo pups born. Unlike the Classic Morkie dog that is tan, black and white, Morkie-poo puppies are often all black, brown, or black with white. It depends on the color of the poodle that's in the mix - a light colored poodle will result in lighter colors in a Morkie-poo puppy litter. This page is dedicated to the mixed-breed or designer dog Morkie-poo puppies - a Maltese, Yorkie and Poodle mixed small dog breed. The puppies in the picture are 1/2 Yorkie (sire), 1/4 Poodle (grandsire) and 1/4 Maltese (grandsire). Mom was a Malti-poo and Dad was a pure Yorkie. Morkie-poo puppies can look somewhat like morkie puppies, except that they usually loose the classic yorkie markings and can be a blend of mostly one color. Morkie-Poo Specs
Morkie-poo puppies are usually about 5-10lbs full grown. Because of the Maltese and Poodle in the background, their ears usually flop but stand up a bit at the base from the Yorkie. The Maltese and the Yorkie generally don't mature to more than 10lbs adult weight, however with poodle in the mix (poodles come in toy, mini, and standard sizes) Morkie-poos can grow slightly larger. These Morkie-poos pictured are an exception - they got their Yorkie sire's teacup size and matured around 4lbs.
