I started morning pages in 2009 when I first discovered Cameron's book. I stuck to it and filled up almost two notebooks - but then I stopped, I should have kept on writing because it might have helped me through that hard time (and maybe the time was harder because I did not write). I took them up again a couple of weeks ago, and it feels good. I always have to tell myself not to make the mistake to ever give writing in the morning up.

I have received great benefits from the practice of morning pages. It was interesting to come across your lens because I had just mentioned Julia Cameron's book in my Renaissance Year lens. Nicely done!

I love Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way. I started doing Morning Pages once, but then stopped. This lens is great - I am glad I saw it. Thank you for sharing it.

I abandoned my morning pages long ago, but I remember the clarity they brought me. Perhaps it's time to reinstate??

I hadn't heard about Morning Pages, but it's something that looks very interesting to look further into it. A great source for the inspiration we all sometimes need.

My daughter is a free-lance artist who owns a copy of "The Artists Way" and she fully believes in the benefit of the Morning Pages. She says it is fantastic at unlocking her creativity. She has told me about it several times -- explaining that it isn't written just for artists, but artists do love it. Perhaps it is now time for me to begin.
