About Morning Rescue Drink

Morning Rescue is a soft drink from Japan, designed to help you recover from last night's party or staying up all night watching anime. It would probably be unknown in the West, were it not for a popular anime series called Puella Magi Madoka Magica by Shaft animation studio. It was picked up by a fansub group [gg], which left the Japanese Morning Rescue commercials in their releases.

These cheery and funny TV adverts for Morning Rescue drink contrasted sharply with the overall dark and tragic story of the show. Maybe that's what made them so popular among Madoka fans (almost to the point of a meme). Due to its sudden popularity, online store J-List decided to stock this drink, so you can now buy Morning Rescue online and try it yourself!

Yes, sadly J-List no longer sells this wonderful beverage ... which sucks. But considering they no longer make it, it can't be helped.

I've had some Japanese drinks like Ramune and Calpico which were pretty unique tastes (aside from the former). What does this Morning Rescue drink taste like?
