What A Man Discovered about Morning Sickness
Let me back up a little before I get to that. Almost two years ago we found out that my wife was pregnant. We were overjoyed.
Although I started early as the paranoid father the early stages of the pregnancy went well. Normal growth, normal signs and my wife was feeling fine.
But then around the 7th week my wife's morning sickness started. And when it started it really started! I felt helpless as I watched her feeling nauseous and vomiting. We couldn't travel very far without it starting. I remember a particular day trip when we had to stop the car every few miles. It was dreadful for all of us but, of course, terrible for my wife.
We knew little about morning sickness as my wife hadn't really experienced it during her first pregnancy. We knew it was likely to stop but that's little comfort when you are feeling that awful. I was hopeful it would stop quickly and our lives could get back to normal.
And then, when it didn't stop, I did some research into morning sickness remedies.
I spent hours on the internet looking for answers.
There is some good free information out there but nothing seemed to help.
And that's when I came across Wendy Shaw's "Morning Sickness Relief".
Now I know that there are no miracle cures for morning sickness but she gives you 80 remedies to try, lots of practical advice and some great resources. We found the ebook really, really useful and although the morning sickness didn't stop the suggestions were the most useful we'd come across. It really helped us.
So I recommend that you give this a try if you are looking for morning sickness remedies either for yourself or for someone you love. If you download it now you can start putting the remedies into practice today!

The 3 things you need to know about morning sickness
When it starts, how long it lasts and when it ends!
If you are pregnant for the first time you might wonder when morning sickness is likely to start and, more importantly, how long you can expect it to continue. The prospect of vomiting and feeling rough is not a good one and lots of people like to know, from the outset, what they are likely to face. All of the timings I'm going to talk about are rough guides and everyone is different so don't worry if your pattern of sickness is different. As I'm sure you will know the best thing to do, if you are worried, is to talk to your physician.
For most women morning sickness starts during the first month of pregnancy. It might happen in the morning but for a lot of women it can take place at other times too. The reason it happens a lot in the morning is because that's when blood sugar levels are low. You would think that physicians would know the cause of morning sickness but they don't. There are several leading theories but no one knows for sure. What they do now though is that low blood sugar levels make it worse.
The worse time for most women is during the 5th to the 8th week of pregnancy. This 3 week period cannot be pretty bad. But for most women it gets better after that.
By the 14th-16th week of pregnancy morning sickness has usually reduced substantially. This is usually when there appears to be an end of sight for most women.
As I said at the start some women continue to get morning sickness throughout the duration of their pregnancy but mostly it stops around this time.
It probably doesn't help much but at least if you know that it's likely to be of relatively limited duration it should make it easier to get though. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
