Who is Mornington Lockett

Mornington Lockett is a saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator based in London. His career ranges from playing jazz with Ronnie Scott, blues with Jimmy Smith, Cuban music with Arturo Sandoval and even a rock session with Oasis.

In addition to live and studio work, Mornington is on the staff of the Royal College Of Music in London and is a visiting teacher at a number of other U.K. schools and colleges.

Mornington is currently working with Dave Barry's group "Four" - The Music Of Miles Davis, The Three Jazz Tenors (with Art Themen and Don Weller) and a number of Stan Tracey groups. Mornington appeared with Stan Tracey at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the 2009 BBC Proms, and was a featured artist at the Ronnie Scott's Club 50th Birthday concert at the London Club.
