About Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Morrowind was first released in 2002. It is the third game in the incredibly popular 'The Elder Scrolls' series created by Bethesda Softworks.

Morrowind is a single player RPG game, originally released on PC. The original release was followed by two Morrowind Expansion packs; Tribunal, and Bloodmoon.

In 2003, Morrowind won the honor of Gamespy's Game of The Year. Following this, Morrowind and the two expansion packs were repackaged into a single game and re-released for both PC and Xbox - which became an instant best seller.

The action of the game takes place in Vvardenfell which is an island in 'Morrowind', this is a departure from previous editions of the Elder Scrolls games, which all take place over a much larger area. Morrowind has be praised by critics and industry experts as being one of the most detailed gaming worlds ever created.

The main quests of the game involve the character of Dagoth Ur, who is on a quest to rid Morrowind of the Imperial occupiers and assume power of the region.

Other notable characters that feature in Morrowind are Vivec, Nerevarine, and Nerevar.

The follow-up to Morrowind is 'The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivian', which is available on PC, XBOX 360, PlayStation3, PSP.

Morrowind is considered one of the world's most detailed and challenging RPG's.

Morrowind is a huge game, there are hundreds of cities, dungeons and fortresses to make your way through. You can have fun playing this game for days on end, only to find that you have only covered a tiny portion of the map.

There are a lot of tricky quests and points to get stuck on.
Rather than get frustrated and give up on this exceptional, award winning game, just get yourself a good walkthrough.
