MOSA - Museum Of Squid Art

About 12 years ago I painted a giant tentacled beast for a Walt Disney project called Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. It was about 12 feet wide and 7 feet tall and I painted it on 3/4 inch steel cut-out shape for a huge sign at the front gate. It was one of several wild animals that my artist friend Gary Thomas and I painted for this project. This function of this lens is to show some serious squid art. I will be adding more as I find them, so it will probably never be finished........

I have back links to the artist's sites for further investigation.

CATHY MCMURRAY

"I'm an artist living in beautiful Portland, Oregon. I used to teach art, and then I opened a shop a few years ago that carried art. Now my days are filled with creating my own art. I look forward to sharing my ideas, inspirations, and findings with you." (click on photo to see more about Cathy)

GIANT OCTOPUS - by John N. Stewart (MOSA founder and lens author)

This is the painting that I talked about in the intro for this lens. After painting it in acrylic, it was coated with an epoxy clear coat for enduring the frequent rains in Orlando.
