Candy, Jewelry, Romantic Trips? Something completely different? How do you spell "romance"?

Heart-shaped chocolates, fancy lingerie (edible?), roses, champagne and French restaurants - these are romantic Valentine's Day choices that pop right into my head. But isn't there more to "romance" than tried and true offerings, year after year...?

Men and women think differently when it comes to "romantic Valentine's gifts". A guy could be happy with game tickets or a new BBQ grill. A lady would banish you into the "dog house" for presenting her with a new vacuum cleaner!

So, how do we find a gender-specific gift idea for the most romantic day of the year - Valentine's Day? How can we move our hearts to "think outside of the box"? Can we "feel" a solution in our (not so) creative minds? What would be a great brainstorming technique? What have others done? What's your experience?

Did you ever think you've found the most romantic gift ever for someone you love?
