Yes, it's my favorite!

compostman says:

If you play by the official rules it's a great game. Most "house rules" (like the Free Parking money) extend the game length.

mosaic says:

It's a great game. Yes, it takes too long to play but other great games take a long time to play, too! The rules are simple and any kid can play just as well as an adult. And anyone can win!

BlogdesignGuy says:

I like playing it on the computer. It makes it easier to manage.

No, it takes way too long!

In 1904 Elizabeth J. Magie, was the creative mind behind the most successful proprietary game of all time, called "The Landlord's Game." Magie was a proponent of the Single Tax put forth by famous author Henry George. The game was designed to show how the Single Tax would work. The game didn't really go anywhere and Magie lost interest in it. Variations of the game evolved, and traveled across the states. Finally noticed by Charles Darrow who introduced it to the world in its current form.

Who hasn't played Monopoly? I will only play it on the computer, because I get so bored waiting for my turn! Which is why I hate chess.
