Mother of the Bride Gowns

Your daughter and her partner are planning their wedding, which means you will want to be wearing one of the best Mother of the Bride gowns you can find.  One that will make you look 'designer dress' gorgeous without you upstaging your daughter, and you want to feel great without having to spend a small fortune.

You'll also, naturally, want to be involved in their wedding plans, without, or being perceived to be, interfering.

And as the average cost of a standard wedding these days hits well into the thousands, you want to help them keep their (or your and husbands) costs down without having to compromise on style, elegance or quality.

Mother of the Bride - Wedding Speeches

Speech Ideas and Reference Material

Wedding Planning Mother of The Bride Speeches, ideas to help you find the right words on your daughters wedding Day!

Quote: "I was honored that my daughter asked me, the mother of the bride, to speak at her wedding.

Although excited as I was to welcome my new son in law into our family, I was somewhat apprehensive to speak to over two hundred guests at the reception. I didn't want to let my daughter down and make a fool of myself in front of so many people.

I knew what I wanted to say but I felt I needed some help in the wording. I would highly recommend the Wedding Speech program as it comes with so many samples of speeches given by others that it is virtually impossible to not come across a speech that closely resembles what you want to say and the feelings you want to convey.

Quote: The Master of Ceremonies said my speech was "excellent" and I had numerous people come up to me afterwards to say how good my speech had been and how much they had enjoyed it.

Wedding Mysteries

True or Untrue?

Wearing pearls on your wedding day is bad luck as the pearls represent bridal tears, a bad omen resulting in tears throughout the marriage.

OR

That the pearls replace the brides tears leaving none to be shed throughout the marriage.

An expert wedding planner can really save the day! Not everyone can afford one, but some are luckily able to find their very own budding "Expert Wedding Planner" relative or friend - it really takes the pressure off and allows everyone involved to enjoy the day that much more.

Lots to do and never enough time in the day to get to grips with the whole 'work life balance thing', but hey, it's a fun and interesting journey.
