Celebrate Mother's Day Creatively With Flowers
Set your squabbles and troubles aside for just this one day. I speak from the heart because I know what it feels like to lose a parent - Both of them - Both much too early. Turn your day into beautiful memories. Don't wait for time, because time is a thief and robs you of those precious memories. This one human being gave you life. There isn't a single thing more precious than that. Dying men will spend their entire fortunes for one more day. So take a minute, grab a cup of coffee with your parent and hand them a beautiful bouquet to brighten their table. Instead of sitting in a coffee shop, use that half hour you would spend in a coffee shop talking to your Mom.

For Mom And Those Special People You Celebrate
Anna Jarvis began a campaign for an official Mother's day when her own mother died. It was Anna who first used the carnation as a symbol to honor Mothers. President Woodrow Wilson declared the second Sunday in May to be National Mother's Day. Sunday, May 19, 1914 was The first official Mother's Day in the United States.
Flowers are consistently a traditional gift to give on Mother's Day. There are lots of creative ways you can incorporate flowers into an extra special bouquet to express your love and appreciation. And, it doesn't matter what your age is or if you're helping your own young children celebrate mother's day, you can use flowers to make this Mother's Day one she'll always remember. Both adult children and younger children will benefit from these gift giving suggestions:
Mothers Day Flower Delivery For Young Children
Hey dads, kids love these!
Invite Mom to a movie. Take the movie section from a recent newspaper to your florist and ask him or her to place it in a box of flowers. As them if they have a special movie gift basket that is decorated with movie candy or candy and popcorn wrappers. Make sure the card lets mom know that she gets to pick the movie and you'll buy the treats and tickets.
Here's a more unique idea. Send Mom on a floral treasure hunt. Have several single stems of flowers with a flower tube on each stem delivered. Hide the flowers around the house and give Mom clues to lead her to them. Make sure that the last clue is a vase to put the flowers in and have the card describe the things about her that you think are treasures.
Breakfast in bed is a time-honored Mother's Day tradition. Have a Breakfast in Bed Basket made up for her with a pretty vase of her favorite flowers on the tray.
Young or old alike, moms deserve a special Mother's Day. In addition to the unlimited reservoir of ideas you can find online, your florist will have some creative ideas too and can help you express yourself in whatever way you can think of.

Mothers Day Flower Delivery Comes With A Dinner Invitation
If you are feeling bold, take your mom out to a restaurant and arrange to have flowers delivered to the table.
Let your mom know that mother's day is her day to relax. Include a book selection with your flowers and request a special floral-book gift basket with a note asking her to spend her day simply relaxing.
Instead of flowers, send a Mother's Day plant or tree. You might also gather a few photographs and have then mounted on decorative paper or in small frames for your florist to tie them to a small tree or plant using matching ribbons.
Go online for a special corsage for your mom to wear for that day. She will enjoy showing everyone her flower gift you gave her, especially if she plans to attend a worship service or other public gathering.

For A Lifetime
Since my mother passed over 10 years ago, I have never been to her graveside. Instead of going to a place where I know she would never be, and feeling sad when I'm there, I use a trick that makes me smile every single year.
I get the bouquet I would have bought for her had she still been living, and I take it to an open field, a pond, a waterfall, a lake, a mountain, or the ocean. She loved all those places. And that's where I'm sure her spirit still is, even after these 10 years. So, that's where I leave her flowers. Because, I know that wherever she is watching me from, that she is smiling.
You don't really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back. ~William D. Tammeus
