I was born and raised in Pt Pleasant and I, for one, did see something. (actually my real name appeared in the local paper. Part moth? Part man? I do not know but, there was truly something that night and I did see it and it was different. Could have been a moth'woman' for all I know. I didn't get that close to examine it. The Mothman is a creature reportedly seen in the Charleston and Point Pleasant areas of West Virginia from November 12, 1966, to December 1967. Most observers describe the Mothman as a winged man-sized creature with large reflective red eyes and large wings. The creature was sometimes reported as having no head, with its eyes set into its chest.
A number of hypotheses have been presented to explain eyewitness accounts, ranging from misidentification and coincidence, to paranormal phenomena and conspiracy theories.

- I would really like to see the mothman just looking on all my info and everything there is bout him is really fastinating.and receantly i am doen a school project on the moth man and cant find no maps on all the areas of were he has been seen no pictures or anything if anyone has any sites i can go to please help.
