Motivational Posters: Daily Quotes, Reminders to be Great!
Ranked #1,633 in Healthy Living, #35,086 overall
Posters offer great inspiration for those days when you aren't feeling 100%
I really enjoy having posters that offer motivation, but I personally don't like many of the motivational posters out there. Below I've highlighted some of the ones I *do* like. Nothing can make you change your habits but yourself, but if you're trying to eat better or get fit, having a poster or two around won't hurt!
I chose these posters because they illustrate what I find very important in making your life your own. You have to learn how to deal with bad things that come your way. Putting in hard work at first makes life much easier down the road. There's never a good time for a change, so do it now! And you have to put forth effort.

You are in charge of your body.
No one can do it for you. "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
I like this poster because it highlights how you are the one in charge of your life, not anyone else. You make choices and decide who you want to be. It's up to you!

Persistence
Baby steps. "There is no giant step that does it. It is a lot of little steps."
I like this poster because it is fitness-oriented and emphasizes how you have to take things a little at a time. For me, making small changes works best for long-term results. Those changes add up to big change over time!

Dancing in the rain.
There's never a good time.
If we need to make a change in our lives, it always seems best to wait for a good time. However, I've found in my own life that there never is a good time. NOW is the time to make a change. When things get in your way, you have to learn how to deal with them.

You learn when you DO
The best way to get better at something is to do it over and over. In fitness, you plateau because you're practicing something regularly, your workouts. You get good at doing three sets of 20 push ups if you do them three times a week, for example. You need to challenge your body to do more before your workouts become easy!

The hard work is in the beginning
Training or getting fit is hard when you start out and pushing your body is hard, but very rewarding. I love feeling sore after a good strength training session, because then I know I pushed myself. One way to build a healthy lifestyle is to practice it, and the hardest work is at the beginning while you're learning and a lot of things may be new to you. However, it all becomes easier as time goes on and you keep it up.

Effort
Sometimes being miserable seems like less work.
Being miserable is.... well... miserable! Even though misery loves miserable company, you'll probably find that you expend a lot of energy with negative emotions and stress. If you put in some hard work at the beginning and build a support system, you'll find that you're happier with your new fit self!
I believe that it's important to make a choice to be fit and healthy. It's a conscious decision to make a change in your life of any kind and you have to be willing to really do it. If you don't make that decision or take action toward it, you aren't likely to reach your goals.

- Love it. Keeping motivated is the number one thing I keep my eye on at the start of each day. Without it, all is lost.
