I seen Motley Crue in 1988 

My story about the best Motley Crue concert of my life!

The night was the 4th of July, 1987. I was 16 years old and full of fire! My best friend Walter and I have tickets to the hottest and loudest concert on tour that year, Motley Crue, they were touring for their Girls Girls Girls album! Motley was on top of the rock n roll world at this time and Walter and I were gonna make sure this was the best night of our young life's! We borrow Walters Dad's 1969 Lincoln Continental with a 460 motor! This baby was loaded with all the cool features and it would flat out move! It was a beast of a car too! Walter makes the drive to Little Rock Arkansas from our hometown. About an 80 mile trip down the interstate and into the capital of our state!
We leave early so we have plenty of time to get there! Just about as soon as we get on the interstate it starts to pour rain! So we had a slick ride for the whole 80 mile drive!
Walter insists on driving. The ride down there was pretty uneventful. But as we got into the city with all the traffic, things started getting pretty wild. I guess Walter wasn't use to city driving! He was in a three lane left turn and didn't understand what was going on and some poor person next to us ended up in the grass to avoid us!

So we avoided one collision! Still on our way! Couple intersections later, in the pouring rain, Walter guns the pedal too much, and that Lincoln Continental with its 460 cubic inch motor took us 3 times in a donut right there in the middle of that intersection! By this time I was freaking out and yelling at him to let me drive the drive car! Because, I knew by God I could do a better job than that! He finally agreed and pulled over to let me drive. I had only driven a car at this time about 10 times. Now I am in command of a huge land boat in the capital city of our state, Little Rock, Arkansas. Talk about learning to be a good driver fast! i got in one lane and stayed in no matter what until we reached the coliseum!

Even waiting outside for them to open the doors was quite a show to see. There was a motley looking crew indeed waiting outside to see America's Notorious Wild Men that were hell bent on destruction.

They finally open the doors after the crowd was starting to get pretty geared up! Loud chants of Open The F--ing Door and We want Motley Crue was ringing threw the crowd!

So we get inside and make the decision that the floor was THE only place to be during a Crue concert! But, first up was White Snake and we figure we would save our energy and give it full force to Motley! So we found a seat and watch White snake give a prett good show! The lead singer was one of those pretty boy rock star types and was dancing pretty funny so we was having a good time laughing about that! But we were there to see Nikki Sixx and the rest of the Crue! We were ready for White snake to hit the road! They finally did! Then there was the forever intermission!
Finally the lights went out and the roar of 4 Harley's filled the area and the guys rode out onto the stage, each of them on a bad ass motorcycle! They parked them and roared the engines a couple times! Then they got off and roared into their Girls Girls Girls song! Yea long legs and burgundy lips! I'm not sure what they played next, because I was just too pumped up and having one hell of a time down of the floor crammed into about 5000 other kids on the floor!
Motley Crue was on fire that night. They played all their great songs and Tommy Lee did the upside drum solo that was totally cool! His drums were built into a cage that was attached to a robotic arm that lift him up into the air and twirled him side ways and made him flip upside down several times!

Originally released independently on November 10, 1981

Released on the band's Leathur Records label, the album and produced by Michael Wagener. With some parts re-recorded, it was re-mixed by Roy Thomas Baker, re-mastered & re-released on August 20, 1982 on Elektra Records in the US and WEA internationally.

Shout at the Devil is the second album by Heavy metal band Mötley Crüe 

Released on September 26, 1983

The record, along with its predecessor Too Fast for Love, is regarded as one of the most influential of its genre and Motley Crue's best album."Looks that Kill" and " Too Young to Fall in Love" became huge hits and "Shout at the Devil" became very popular as well.

Shout is a textbook example of Heavy metal as it existed in the 80s. Song topics included sex, violence, drugs, and youthful rebellion. In addition, the visual influence of the band in this era was palpable as their massive hair, makeup, and tough, violent imagery contributed greatly to the visual aspects of glam metal. Shout at the Devil was awarded 4x Platinum (reaching the four million mark in shipments) on May 15, 1997. Released in the aftermath of singer Vince Neil's arrest for manslaughter on a drunk driving charge, the album marked a step away from the heavy metal sound of Shout at the Devil towards a more glam-rock influenced record, in both sound and image. During this era, Nikki Sixx even wore catsuits onstage.

Girls, Girls, Girls is the fourth studio album by glam metal band Mötley Crüe 

Released on May 15, 1987

The record features a more blues-influenced sound than previous albums and contains the hits "Wild Side" and "Girls, Girls, Girls". The record also reflects the band's hard-living lifestyle, and pays homage to their love of riding fast, large motorcycles, drinking whisky, and spending long nights at strip clubs. There are darker sides to the album as well, notably Nikki Sixx's song 'Dancing on Glass', about his addiction to heroin, and 'Wild Side', which tells of destructive lifestyles and the pitfalls of decadence.

Generation Swine, is an album by the American hard rock band Motley Crue released in 1997. It was the first studio album by the band with singer Vince Neil since 1989s Dr. Feelgood.
Motley Crue had returned to the studio with the intention of recording a straight rock record that was to be more aggressive than the Motley Crue album was, and with Rock producing they had recorded material such as "The Year I Lived In a Day" and "La Dolce Vita." The band was so excited about the new music, that according to Corabi; "At the end of each day we'd walk around the studio carrying our huge socks in our hands because the music rocked so hard.

New Tattoo is the thirteenth studio album by the American hard rock band Mötley Crüe 

Released in 2000

Artistically, New Tattoo shows the band going back to their sleazy rock sound that gave them commercial success in the 1980s. Long time drummer Tommy Lee left the band a year before, and was replaced by former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo on the album.

The original line up of Motley Crue, which consisted of singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist Mick Mars, had reunited for the Generation Swine album and tour in 1997 mainly out of pressure from their management and record company. Even though the group had reunited, problems still existed between Lee and Neil, as Lee felt that the band had been going in a backward direction since Neil rejoined the group. Lee was also having domestic problems with his wife, model Pamela Anderson which after an altercation following an argument, led to him serving time in jail.
While waiting for his sentencing, the band recorded two new songs for their 1998 Greatest Hits album, "Bitter Pill" and "Enslaved," which were more in vein of their 80s output compared to their work during the 1990s.

While Lee was in prison, he decided that he was going to leave Motley Crue and start his own project, which eventually became Methods of Mayhem. Lee stayed with the group for the tour of their greatest hits album, but after each show he would retreat to his portable studio and work on material for his new project.

Red, White & Crue is a 2-CD greatest hits album by Motley Crue released in 2005.

The compilation can be seen as an anthology album for the band, spanning the band's entire career, including the band's self titled release with singer John Corabi. Around the time of release, the band had just announced a reunion tour with drummer Tommy Lee, who had originally exited in 1999 due to creative differences and personal strife with lead singer Vince Neil.

Red, White & Crue featured three new tracks, among them the first single "If I Die Tomorrow", which was co-written by pop punk band Simple Plan. Surprisingly, the song got a very warm response on rock radio, with the video receiving decent airplay on VH-1 (who were sponsoring the tour).

However, Tommy Lee didn't play on the cover of "Street Fighting Man". Drumming duties were handled Josh Freese of the Vandals.

Though Red, White & Crue sold decently, even going platinum thanks to the publicity generated over the reunion tour, many fans criticized the band for putting out yet another greatest hits album.

A video was made for "Sick Love Song," another new track off the album. Though the video, which was basically a well produced concert clip, got only scarce airplay, the song itself got some airplay on rock radio.

A special edition that includes a Greatest Video Hits DVD compilation was also made.
