Motor Bike Expo 2012 - the Motorcycles Fair in Verona

INTRO TO PHOTO LENS

MOTOR BIKE EXPO VERONA is one of the biggest Italian Fairs dedicated to the special motorcycles, custom and accessories. It was held from 20th to 22th January 2012 in Verona.
Once in a while, I visit some of the motor bike expos or events. This expo was a treat for the beginning of 2012 and I enjoyed it very much. Especially the special edition Triumphs.

Couple of facts about Verona Expo

In 2011 the event hosted more than 741 brands from all over the world, on an exhibition area of beyond 73.000 square meters. I don't have info about precise number of brands who participated this year, but I'm sure it was more or less the same.

This year's main guest star was bike builder Jesse James of West Coast Choppers. This wasn't his first appearance on Verona Motor Bike Expo.

Photos and Bikes

All photos are taken by my Nikon D5000 and please don't use them without asking for approval. I am not a professional photographer so don't be too harsh on the quality. It is really tricky to take good photos with so many different types of lights and from different directions. Not to mention that every bike was polished so there is a LOT of reflection.

Entering Verona

Powerful Ducati Diavel

It is always crowded on a Ducati stands. This Italian most popular motorcycle brand attracts lots of people, and not without reason. Ducati's highly prestigious position is the result of it's constant commitment, skills and professionalism.
"Passion for quality and the pursuit of excellence are the factors which distinguish Ducati from the others" is how they describe their products.

Vintage helmets

A motorcycle helmet is the most important piece of a safety equipment. It is also the most prominent element to express your personal style and with these handmade vintage looking helmets, that will be an easy task.

Devils Sculls on a Caddy

Amazing paint job on this Cadillac, made me stop and take a bunch of photos. I only put one 'cause of the space. This is definitely a car you wanna own or at least drive it thru rush hour once :D.
Modern design on such classic line car fit very well.It is almost scary, something from a Stephen King books :)

The BIGGEST bike on a fair

I was looking around searching for some giant biker who owns this bike, but it was a 5x10m model of the motorcycle used as a very well stare magnet for a visitors of the fair.

Don't stress I can assure you these photo's are beautiful. Love bikes and thought the cars were pretty ace too! I was going to "pin" it but am unsure if you would mind or not due to the clause you requested. Let me know as this would go nicely on my bikes board!! With thanks and appreciation. Cathi x

I go to the bike show at the Birmingham NEC in the UK each and every year but the Verona show looks so much better - I am very jealous. Some great images there and it's good you have a cross section of al the vehicles (including the cars) and not just focused on one particular type.
  • PBJasen Jan 31, 2012 @ 4:06 pm | delete
Thanks for visiting and nice comments on my photos. I have it more, maybe I'll put some soon. Show was very good indeed.
