KBB And NADA Show Different Prices...Why Is That?
I was paging through Yahoo! Answers recently, and found an interesting question about the price difference you can see between Kelley Blue Book and the NADA guide.
The person asking the question was thinking about buying a 1999 Ninja 250 for $1625 off of eBay. NADA said the bike's value is $1015, but the Kelley Blue Book value is around $1800. So, why the discrepency in price?
The answer voted as the best said that the difference the poster was seeing was probably the difference between retail prices and wholesale prices. There are different versions of the price guides...there's one for retail, and one for wholesale.
