Hit The Open Road: Travel In A Motorhome

Ranked #7,093 in Travel & Places, #192,089 overall

Travelling in your Motorhome

Travelling by road is just the best. I think its the freedom you have, you are totally in control. If you're lucky enough to own a motorhome then you are absolutely set up - you can go anywhere, park up anywhere and have your tea wherever you like be it by the side of the road, in the forest or parked up by a lake, you can have it all.

For those of us who don't own our own motorhome we have to hire. Now this is great as well, it might cost a bit to hire but its way cheaper than owning one, they can be soo expensive to buy and it means you can drive around day to day in normal vehicle then pick up your freshly cleaned hire motorhome for your hols! It also means you can test drive a motorhome before committing to buy one - brilliant!

This site www.MotorhomePlanet.co.uk is fabulous at providing all sorts of information on motorhomes - from travel diaries which are fantastic - Norway, Spain, France, Germany....to loads of information on motorhome conversions.

If you already own a motorhome then they cover everything from Motorhome insurance, breakdown, servicing, which can be more complicated than you think!and more.

So if you check this site out and read it over you're going to be absolutely sorted and all clued up before hitting the open road in your shiny white motorhome!

Hi, great lens! Our motorhoming experience of using France Passion was brilliant. We loved stopping over at farm shops, vineyards and the like, sampling the local produce and chatting to the locals. In fact we liked it so much we started our own scheme in Britain when we got back!
