I'm a girl, AND I ride a BIG, FAST motorcycle

I used to think that I was unique, but nowadays I'm seeing more and more women on motorcycles.  That's how it should be.

This lens is devoted to women who ride motorcycles, and will highlight stuff made especially for them, including bikes that are particularly well suited for a woman.

And please visit my new site: Her-Motorcycle.com -which is totally devoted to women motorcycle riders! Let's not let the men have all the fun, huh?

Other Gear Vendors

J.C. Whitney is a well-established company, that is primarily known for automobile parts and accessories. However, J.C. Whitney also has a great selection of motorcycle apparel, gear and accessories. Check out the free shipping!

For all the basic needs, including bungee cords, battery chargers, and rain gear, this is a great site for motorcycle stuff:
Motorcycle parts and accessories - JC Whitney

You might also want to check out RideGear.com, where you can also get free shipping and big discounts on apparel, including motorcycle jackets.
Shop RideGear for casual clothing and accessories for motorcycle enthusiasts. Plus, get Free Shipping on your $149 order.

I also like Bike Bandit, where you can find manuals for motorcycles, and apparel, including Harley Davidson stuff. Take advantage of the discounts and free shipping if you buy enough at one time!
Motorcycle Apparel & Gear at BikeBandit.com!

I have also have had success finding motorcycle jackets at leather shops, including Wilson's Leather. I especially like the discounted items.
Shop the Clearance Section at WilsonsLeather.com

BUT, my all-time favorite for classic leather motorcycle jackets, vests and gloves is Fox Creek Leather--------(does it get any better than this?)

My fiance rides and he can't wait to teach me. Unfortunately he's deploying in about a week and he'll be gone for 7 months.

He did give me one lesson, but the bike was so heavy that i dropped it. 0.o
Thankfully the only damage was a snapped off tip of his clutch lever. Which was already bent from other accidents. haha.

I'm really excited about when he gets back, though. I've always wanted a bike, but being the girl in my family it was never an option....tough cheese for them.
