- Oh Linda Jo... I could spend all day on this lens! How beautiful! Believe it or not, I actually BUILT a mountain dulcimer back in the day... It was from a kit and it didn't turn out very great, but I had fun with it for years. I will say this: You have me wanting another dulcimer! I love to sing so much... this is SO my style... LOVE YOUR LENS! Thank you so much for putting it together! Hugs... Huge Squid Hugs! :) Kath

- Great lens! I hope to begin playing the mountain dulcimer very soon. Thanks for sharing the beautiful music. I may need to connect lenses since I'm doing a series on all things related to joyous mountain living. This music is certainly a part of that. All the best!

- Great subject. Reminded me of listening to this music at my Grandma's growing up. Thanks for reminding me of these times.

- Cool lens! I have been playing mountain dulcimer for about 8 years now and love the music. Ever been to Mountain View, AR? It is heaven for this kind of music and we spend several months here every year.

- I love the dulcimer! I have one once owned by Sally Rogers, a singer/songwriter from Connecticut by way of Michigan. I play the bowed psaltery, another very easy-to-play instrument that sounds wonderful. Mountain music is very closely related to Celtic Music as it was brought over by the Scots and the Irish who settled in Appalachia.
