Real Mount Sinai Discovery in Saudi Arabia (black top mountain)
A modern day discovery of the real Mount Sinai! The upper 200 feet of Jebel el Lawz is burned black, as you can see in the photo. The Saudi Government has confiscated many photographs of the mountain and will not allow any tourists into this area of the country. U.S. Government satellite photos and a few private photos smuggled out of the country reveal the secret mountain by its unique blackened peak and evidence all around. Unlike the traditional site (in most bible maps), there are thousands of acres in which to encamp at the base of this mountain, while clearly being visible from the mountain top.
Mr. Wyatt is the original modern-day discoverer of the real Mount Sinai. Others followed suit (including Jim and Penny Caldwell), not even knowing Mr. Wyatt, but led by God on their own journey to the mountain, all the adventurers have risked their lives to give the evidence that follows. There is even a foreign man who came on his own journey and found even more evidence, but his website is unfortunately in a foreign language. I hope to one day see his evidence in english!

[In reference to the Mt Sinai (found on bible maps)]. Von Haven, the member of a Danish expedition to the traditional and original Mt. Sinai site, wrote in "Arabia Felix: The Danish Expedition of 1971-1767, by Thorkild Hansen: "I have observed earlier that we could not possibly be at Mount Sinai. The monastery [of St. Catherine] was situated in a narrow valley, which was not even large enough for a medium-sized army to be able to camp in, let alone the 600,000 men that Moses had with him, who, together with their wives and children, must have come to over 3,000,000."

Ron Wyatt's discovery of Mount Sinai
Ron studied the Bible accounts and noted that the real Mount Sinai would be in the land of Midian; and the burning bush was in the "backside of the desert". He discovered the Red Sea Crossing and found chariot parts in the Gulf of Aqaba in 1978. He began to look for a mountain on the gulf that fit the description. He believed it was Jebel el Lawz. He had flight maps that showed an almost semi-circular mountain range, with a large area around it, room enough for the encampment of a couple million people along with their animals. Not far from here, he believed the father-in-law, Jethro, could have lived in the town of Al-Bad.
The Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea) separates the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt) and Saudi Arabia (ancient Midian). Ron read "The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount". Meaning to him they were in "in" a mountain range- protected within its borders. On the map, Jebel el Lawz was the highest peak in northwest Saudi Arabia.
Ron believed he found a perfect description of Mt. Sinai, but as they got near the base of the mountain, a truck came and a man inside told them to leave, which they did and headed to Jordan's border.
This was in 1984, and visited a year later, which he discovered the Saudi government had put up a fence and now a guard house prevented anyone clear access to the mountain or the base area on the eastern side. Now a sign says, "Archaeological area...unlawful to trespass, subject to penalty." On Ron and his boys first trip, they were held prisoners for two months, awaiting execution. Ron helped to heal many sick prisoners, which led to Saudi authorities let him lead them to the Red Sea column (erected by King Solomon) at the Saudi side and then to Mt. Sinai. They took his photographs before letting him go. He was interviewed by CBS when he returned to the states.
Also found near this mountain is what is believed to be the Rephidim encampment where Moses and the children of Israel stayed before reaching Mt. Sinai. Moses had struck the rock and water gushed out. On a 300 foot hill is this 60 foot tall rock. There are signs of water erosion at the rock base, which was and currently is a desert region. There is a crack or split down the middle of this huge rock, you can even walk through it. A square 20 foot altar is also near, which was built after the children of Israel defeated the Amalakites.

Moses Altar near the Split Rock
About 200 yards from the Split Rock is the square altar, believed to have been the one Moses built at the foot of Mount Sinai. Not to be confused with the L shaped altar near the base of Mount Sinai. This altar is near Rephidim where the Split Rock is located.

Calf Altar with Cow Petroglyphs
Ron Wyatt found this altar with cow petroglyphs, he later told authorities, which they then fenced off the area. Since then, very few have gotten close enough to take photographs.

You can see the remains of the altar and coral that Moses built in the bottom right corner. Also the 12 pillars area, the guard building and the golden calf altar. The border that was set is somewhere between the shack and the calf altar. Beginning near the guard building is a fence keeping on lookers out from the area near the 12 pillars, altar and base of Mount Sinai.

- This is sooooo amazing! I must admit that you tubing this in 2008 got me on to reading the bible, and now I have read the whole thing! (Or so I thought I had, it is just so in depth, and amazing!) I have just started exodus again! (KJV) and amongst the message is the history, so I was googling for maps, and came accross this site. This is truly amazing, there are so many other maps where people have got it wrong! And are directing people to egypt. This is truly amazing and I am truly thankful and for me it has made the bible come alive, and I will hopefully come to the understanding ( of reading through exodus ) of the significance of the. Door posts being covered in the blood of a lamb, in the passover, and how Christ is the sacraficial lamb - the lamb; that we can be covered in when we know him and understand the message of the bible. And he will not destroy those covered by the blood of the lamb. (Which is the goal!) Fantastic work, thank you very much (and I would love to go there!) Thanks!

- Excellent lens. Discoveries in recent years have shown that ancient stories like those from the Old Testament as well as those from Greece, Sumeria, Egypt etc did take place, and the places are real. We just have to identify them. I have lensrolled this to my Zecharia Sitchin lens, which is also about ancient times and the unravelling of ancient texts.
