Moussaka is probably the most popular Greek Food and its recipe is among the most often downloaded Greek Recipes. Its preparation is quite complicated but the dish is so tasty that you will never regret making it.The ingredients for the moussaka are the following:
- 1 kilo of aubergines
- ½ kilo of minced meat
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 average-sized onion- 1 cup of tomato juice
- parsley
- salt, pepper, allspice, nutmeg
- 300 gr. feta cheese
- 4 cups of milk
- gruyere cheese
- béchamel sauce

- Thank you for the recipe! I tried it yesterday?but it was not absolutely successful. I tried to make the béchamel sauce on my own as I had seen my friend from Greece doing it but I must have made some mistake because I did not manage to spread the flour in the mixture, so little balls of it remained in the sauce? :)
