Moving to Charleston South Carolina

Cara and I love living in Charleston.  We've lived in the area for 14 years, and have built our business around people visiting and moving to the Charleston area.  We work on the weekends and often take days off during the week.  Wednesday, we went to Folly Beach for a walk, and watched some kite boarders for about 20 minutes.  I just started surfing in June, and we were both fascinated.  We went to California Dreaming for a late Lunch.  The food is slipping a little, but the view is the best in Charleston, we think.  We have some warm memories of bringing our boys here on the boat.  They're both in college now, but we used to boat down from County Farm Landing just off of 526, and about 20 minutes from our home in Summerville. 

Cara has a collection of websites on Charleston featuring www.charlestonsfinest.com.  She has a reservations call center with staff who have visited and assessed the local hotels and inss personally, and who live and work in Charleston.  You can find information on accommodations, dining, nightlife, real estate, and businesses. 

I have been working full time in residential real estate for about the last two years.  Thanks to Cara's genious and hardwork, we've gotten off to a very nice start.  Many of the families I help are military, which is very gratifying.  They get in touch with us either through families we've helped before, or through our websites.  For real estate, we have content directly on www.charlestonsfinest.com, as well as www.charlestonneighborhoods.com, and our most recent addition, www.Move2Charleston.com.  Also, try my new blog at http://jimadams.wordpress.com. 

We are in the process of setting up blogs for travel and real estate.  We want to know what actual problems people are having either visiting or moving to Charleston, and use our collective knowledge along with our visitors to help people avoid common problems and make their experiences more enjoyable.
