Classic Christmas Movies

This Christmas is coming. We couldn't wait for family parties, Christmas dinner and the Christmas movie time.

1. Christmas Vacation
This movie is adapted from the memoirs of the American author named Joan Shepherd, who is also the narrator of the movie. It is directed by Bob Clark and Peter Billingsley does a wonderful job in the movie as the protagonist.
The movie tells an interesting story of a boy who wants to get a cap gun as his Christmas gift. The audience would be impressed by the boy's funny actions and words.

2. Christmas With The Kranks
The movie is adapted from Skipping Christmas, a hot seller which is written by the American author named John Grisham. The drama lying in this movie leaves a deep impression on the audience.

3. The Perfect Holiday
This movie contains a lot of elements which make the movie a great comedy. These funny conductions, unexpected misunderstandings and white lies give the audience the experience of happiness and pleasures. This movie also focuses on the description of a Santa Claus operation system, a funny rapper, a 300-pound angel and three lovely children.

4. Miracles on Christmas Eve
In this movie, five strangers get to know each other in the NY City. All of them have their own problems. Finally they find the true meaning of the Christmas Eve after their experiences in the city. And they encourage each other to make their way out of the difficulties. The movie is some kind of a warm movie and aims to tell the audience that the world is filled with love.

There are some other Christmas movies which are also wonderful, such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Christmas Wizard, Nightmare Before Christmas, Merry Christmas.etc.

New 2010 Christmas Movies

Merry Christmas! We have chronologically listed up the best Christmas movies that you can watch in this Christmas special.

ChristmasIf you are looking for Christmas movies at the cinema this year, the 2010 release schedule isn't exactly full-up of Christmas cheer.

In fact, there is only one genuine Christmas movie for 2010 -- The Nutcracker in 3D. It is a 3D musical starring Nathan Lane, John Turturro, and Elle Fanning as Mary. The release date is November 24th, 2010. I'm not quite sure how much the movie has to do with the story of the original Nutcracker. It looks very steampunk and cool though.

Disney's A Christmas Carol
Disney's A Christmas Carol is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 16th, 2010, so by the time you read this, you may be able to pick it up at the store, or stick it in your Amazon cart now as a pre-order and you'll have it before Thanksgiving.

Starring Jim Carrey, who is making a habit of being in great Christmas movies, and directed by Robert Zemeckis (director of that other holiday classic, The Polar Express), this Disney animated film tells the classic story of Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future (all of whom are played by Jim Carrey). It is a MUST HAVE if you love Christmas movies. The animation is excellent and in some cases I find myself forgetting that it is animated.

Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol
Can't get enough of A Christmas Carol or maybe you just hate Jim Carrey and/or animation? You're in luck.

Also being released on Blu-Ray in November 2010 is the 1984 television movie, A Christmas Carol, starring George C. Scott as Scrooge. This quite faithful adaption of Dickens' original story by Clive Donner features an excellent performance by George S. Scott and the supporting cast are all great too.
