Think todays version Officer and a Gentleman, a young soldier meets and falls in love with a student who is on spring break, they exchange letters, John believes he will not re-enlist however after the 9/11 attacks, he and his company de-ploy, during a misssion he is indeed sent a "Dear John" letter, from Savanagh saying she is engaged to someone else, but not who John thinks, when he finds out who she married this story takes on a whole new meaning, To what lengths someone will sacrifce themselves for love. Watch over and over and over again...

Sandra Bullock plays this part amazingly, this boy who society had given up on, she gives shelter, too. I cried right from the start and continued throughout. With one of the unlikely stars of the show being the wee boy, who takes it upon himself to mentor and coach Michael for his football team, even this motive is questioned by the authorities who believe the family are only helping Michael becasue of his talent, and which school he will choose to play in.
Brilliant feel good- tear jerker of a film.

I believe every class in the world should have this project set to them, a fantastic Kevin Spacey sets his pupils a task in the classroom, to make a plan to change the world, little did he know what was about to happen, Little trevor hatches a plan to help 3 people who in turn will then help 3 people each (Think multi level marketing...) and so continue and spread. I never in a million years expected the ending, it is probably one of the most beautiful films I have seen

This is one of those films, that has a great feel about it, it is funny, and if you have ever owned a puppy that wants to do as it pleases, you will totally get this film. If not your probably will never own one after following this families hilarious journey, with Marley. Be prepared and have plenty tissues ready.

The Champ
This is a Story of an ex boxer who is down on his luck gambeller, he takes care of his son the cutest wee boy EVER T.J, or he tries to, in between the gambling and drinking sessions, they live on a race course and when he starts to make a come-back on the boxing scene so as to give T.j a better future, T.J's mum Annie walks back into their lives, that are worlds apart. This si an old movie 1979, the fashion is hilarious, but I can honestly say, hold onto your hankies, becasue you are going to cry buckets.

The notebook
Due to Public demand i watched this film, well i was not disappointed, tear factor was off the scale. A romantic and heartfelt story of a couple through their lives, I really dont want to tell you anything about this film, apart from, I had worked out the story in the first 5 minutes however- i had to watch how the story unfolded, and yes the big bear of a husband was crying too!
