Moving Boxes Bubble Wrap & Other Packing Supplies
Are you getting ready to move to a new location, across town or to another state? Take just a few minutes right now and make it MUCH easier on yourself later on moving day. I'll show you how...
With a little care and planning, you and your stuff will both arrive in mint condition. Most damage comes from vibration. Think of a stack of dishes in a box on the bed of a bouncing truck. No matter how well the sides are padded, a firm up-and-down jolt could crack the entire stack. On the other hand, dishes packed on edge and surrounded by bubble wrap have a better chance of surviving the trip unharmed.
There's no need to spend a lot of money when you're looking to buy moving supplies and if you find the right supplier you can save a little extra to boot. Don't get those used boxes from the back of supermarkets, I tried that, most have been cut with a box cutter and have no tops and smell like old bananas or something worse!
Here's where I find the best prices and fastest service on moving boxes and supplies.

The Bare Necessities
Expert movers, someone who has done it more that twice, know that it's essential to remember to pack a separate box with the bare necessities of life.
Pack this in last so you can get to it easy. This box will help you maintain until you unpack completely.
Things to include are can opener, a match box, flashlight, and an emergency tool kit as well as stuff like dish soap, towels, cleaner, salt & pepper, sugar, tea, and instant coffee. Don't forget kitchen tools like a knife, spatula, and can opener.
If you have pets, remember pet food. I have found that if you pack right then unpacking will be a breeze. It's really all about being organized and thinking ahead just a little.

One other thing I have learned is to see how much stuff I can give away or sell before I start packing.
If you are like me somehow I manage to collect all sorts of junk in just a few years that I really don't need. Then when it's time to move I have to convince myself that I really don't need that stuff after all and I start giving stuff away.
It really makes a difference in the total amount of weight moved, and a lot less headaches for you.
I have put up a website that contains tips and ideas that can save you a lot of money on moving.
