On the internet today, people think that just because a program is free that is might have a ton of spyware on it. After all, how else would they make money of their product if it's free. Some of you may have heard a rumor going around that Mozilla FireFox has a lot of spyware and adware that it puts on your computer.

Good news: Mozilla FireFox is spyware free!

Fortunately these rumors that Mozilla is secretly installing spyware on your computer are just that - rumors. To set the record straight: Mozilla does NOT have any spyware or adware viruses on it. It is a legitimately free product.

The truth is: Mozilla actually protects against unauthorized installations. Unlike Internet Explorer, Mozilla can detect if a website is doing anything malicious that might install some bad software on your PC.
