Eco-fashionista travelers bag

Fantastic, funky, and functional, and made from mosquito netting that has been recycled from its use in the fields of Cambodia where it was used to protect the animals.

Ethically produced in a small workshop, this bags feature a back mesh pocket (perfect for that map), a snap closure, and adjustable strap.

Offered in many great colors from Three Stone Steps.

Why does mosquito netting look like this?

There is a good reason

Although I've run into many people who think that mosquito nets are this sheer, cottony, billowy things, that's never been the case where I've traveled. In the parts of the world that I've been, mosquito netting is nylon, and comes in a few colors: green, pink, blue, and white. Really, I've never understood the reasons for all the colors, but am glad that they have them.

Why mosquito netting?

or, travels in a malarial zone

Ok, it's not quite a romantic notion, but sleeping under mosquito net is a fact of life in some parts of the world, and even if you end up in a room with air con, you still could have a lovely mozzie net hanging over your bed. And, you don't want to stay up all night swatting those little critters, do you?

Since my bags are from Cambodia, and I spend a good deal of time there, and in the other countries in SE Asia, here are some books to get you started, and on travel in the tropics in general. Enjoy....and don't forget the mosquito net!
