Meet Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes, the Mid-South's Favorite Band
Enjoy Ricky Young's vocals along with host and bass player Steve "Bubba" Carter, Richard Carter on alto sax, Tommy Cunningham on lead guitar, Mike Lenzini's smooth vocals, trombone, and flute, Ronnie Thomas vocals and keyboard, Steve Clark vocals, sax, and trombone, Larry Matthews with vocals and on drums, Harley Vinsant vocals and bass, and Josh Hice on trumpet.
The Cabbageheads are a busy band, performing up to 100 times a year in the Fort Smith and surrounding area as well as adjoining states. They're a favorite at local fundraisers, civic and corporate events, and even weddings if you're lucky enough to book them far enough in advance. Locals count on Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes for entertainment at the Mayor's 4th of July celebration in Fort Smith every year. This year, our favorite band will be in our favorite small town, Greenwood, Arkansas, too!
Now in their 26th year, the band is certified by the Arkansas Arts on Tour Commission and the Mid America Arts Alliance [MAAA] and in 2007, Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes were inducted into the Old Town Hall of Fame in Fort Smith.
