Mr Men Little Miss is a great series of children's books and TV shows. The Mr Men Little Miss started as the Mr Men series in 1971 by Charles Roger Hargreaves (b. 9 May 1935 - d. 11 September 1988) Little Miss was added in 1981.
Over the last thirty years there have been spin-offs from Mr Men Little Miss t-shirts, Plush Toys, to Jewelry.

The Mr Men Little Miss Series Started Innocently Enough.

Charles Roger Hargreaves (9 May 1935 - 11 September 1988) wrote the first book of almost 90 in the Mr Men Little Miss series innocently enough. His son Adam asked Roger what a Tickle looks like. He drew a picture of an orange round figure with long arms, called it Mr Tickle, and lo and behold the Mr Men Little Miss series started in 1971.

Roger Hargreaves, was a Creative Director for a London Advertising firm. His ambition was to be a cartoonist.

He wrote a children's book Mr Tickle in 1971, while it took him a while to find a publisher. He eventually would, and his books would turn out to be a success.

He would quit his day job in 1976, and dedicate his life to writing children's books until his death, from a sudden stroke, in 1988.

His son Adam would take over the writing of the books in 1988, after his father's death.

It all started with an illustration for his son - Mr Tickle in 1971. and a successful marketing of children's books, TV shows, Games, etc. which was sold for over $50 million dollars in 2004 to the UK entertainment group Chorion. Visit the Mr Men Little Miss Store for some great Books and toys.

He was caught in a giant's residence and the giant forced Mr Greedy to eat everything on the giant's plate, hence Mr Greedy's incredibly big stomach

Mr Happy is just so darn happy. He discovers a door in the woods.. He wonders through the door and discovers his arch nemesis Mr.Miserable. At the end of the story, Mr.Miserable is just as happy as Mr.Happy.

Little Miss Neat was a very tidy person. She was really good at cleaning up her home. One day, she went on a vacation. Mr. Muddle came to visit while she was away, and got into the house. He made himself some tea, and left everything in the wrong place. When Little Miss Neat returned, she could tell from the misplaced items that Mr. Muddle must have visited.
