Wife of Santa Claus

They say that behind every man is a good woman. I would say that even applies to Santa Claus. His wife, Mrs. Claus, does not get the same attention that he does around the holidays but that does not mean she is any less busy.

Sometimes referred to as Mother Christmas, I have heard tell that her maiden name was Mary Christmas. That is not a documented fact, though. It is just something I heard from a couple of elves who were gossiping.

Let's find out more about the woman behind the man...Mrs. Claus.

Mrs. Santa Claus in her kitchen

Christmas CookieI wonder when Mary Christmas agreed to marry Santa all those years ago, if she knew how much time she would spend in her kitchen.

She is famous for baking cookies and I hear they are the best you can find for miles around.

Then there are all of those elves the poor woman has to feed! She must have a huge kitchen and I hope she gets help from the cooking elves.

Can you imagine the dishes that she must have to wash on a daily basis?

How Much Laundry does Mrs. Claus have?

laundryCan you imagine how much laundry Mrs. Claus has to keep up with?

She has the laundry for her and Santa and there are all of those elves.

I can't imagine how large her washer and dryer must be! Then again maybe she has a very large laundry room with multiple units.

She must have a really heavy duty iron too!
