Mrs Frisby is a widowed field mouse whose life, and that of her four children, are in danger from farmer Fitzgibbon's plow. Follow her journey as she sets out to find someone who can help her move her home. First to the Great Owl, then to the rats of NIMH, rats who are extraordinarily intelligent. This was one of my favorite books as a girl. I still like it. It's what a children's books should be: charming and it doesn't talk down to kids or have any overt preachiness.

- Good. The only way I can think to improve this lens is to write your own review of the book. What did you like about it? Was there anything the author could have improved? It is one of my fave children's books though. Cheers!
