It's time for the AMAs and there's a ton of chatter around this year's nominee list. The big win is the Artist of the Year and nods have gone to Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Eminem and even Michael Jackson. The rest of the categories are for Favorite Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, with each of these big genres having a male, female, band/group and album sub-categories. Plus, the AMAs are a unique show in that only 3 artists are nominated for each category. Plus, there are other awards for alternative rock, contemporary, latin and more. Another big award is for Best Soundtrack and this year the nominees are Hannah Montana: The Movie, Hannah Montana 3 and Twilight. These all had crazy fan followings, so who do you think will win for best soundtrack? Taylor Swift got the most nominations at 6, followed by Michael Jackson's 5 and Eminem's 4. For the specific nods in each category, simply log onto ABC.com, where you can even cast the votes for your favorite musicians in each category. Some reported performances include Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry and Adam Lambert as well as Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez. And don't forget to watch the 2009 AMAs LIVE on ABC November 22nd at 8/7pm Central.
