Mukunda

I took Ulysses and Mukunda to their annual check up, today. I showed our Vet, Frank, another tumor that Muki has been chewing on for several months. We've applied daily doses of Aloe Vera from the prolific plant on our window sill!!

The tumor hasn't improved, nor has it gotten worse.

Exactly one year ago, Mukunda had 3 large tumors removed, and I held his paw the entire time, and gossiped with old friend, Frank, the Vet!!

So I wasn't surprised when Frank suggested surgery again!

So I told Mukunda about the upcoming surgery, as pictured here.

Mukunda has a way of listening, then absorbing what it is that I just said to him.

Yes he is taking it in, but over the years, I have noticed that dogs take life and death matters lightly, like an angel would respond to such matters.

Oh yes--I forgot--Dog is God spelled backwards, which makes them angels, too!!

Yes it's all ok with him--

But is it really ok with me??

I mean honestly--REALLY OK??

When Mukunda relaxes, so do I, because he is my great teacher.

We all love Frank, the Beloved Vet of everyone I know!!

But Ulysses already knows. Silly Me!!

But Ulysses already knew that, too!!

Lewis The Punk is cyber friend of Ule and Muki. Ule can only have cyber-friend dog friends, because he beats up every dog he has ever met, face to face!!

Lewis agrees: Death? There is no such thing as Death, except the idea, which only a human could make up such a silly thing!!

So we bide our time before the surgery by taking long car rides, and me watching the beauty of every moment with my beloved Dog/God Guardian Friends.

The wind moving through his beautiful fur is a sight to always remember!!

Yes, the moment has finally come.

Time to go, Doggy Mom!!

I Love Frank Abel, in spite of the fact that he looks just like Harrison Ford, but with a more consistent level of compassion!!

Anesthesia is a strange thing, but Muki comes slowly out of his stupor, to live another day, teaching only Love.
