I was privileged to meet Dr. Miller during a training session for a problem miniature mule adopted by the Millers. That little pistol was as like to kick out at you as nip you, but by the end of the training session with Steve Edwards of Queen Valley Mule Ranch, he was trotting politely and mannerly, pulling a little cart and looking way too cute for his history and prior disposition. Any or all of Dr. Miller's books are recommended reading for mule people.
