Munich Atmosphere

Make getting ready for your trip less stressful by getting your passport at an online passport expediting site. These websites provide official passport services where you can fill out your information and submit it all online. If you simply need yours renewed, you can fill out a expedited passport renewal. The biggest perk is being able to choose when you'd like it to arrive at your house. If your plane leaves later that week, you can have your passport in time. This definitely beats the usual 8-14 week delivery period.

A great place to start your adventure is in Marienplatz, the largest public square in the city of Munich. It has served as a public square for as long as the city has been around, and now it is a great place for people-watching, shopping, eating, and experiencing the Munich atmosphere. Not only does the square itself feature plenty of landmarks, but its central location puts you close to other landmarks outside the square and the train station as well. The central clock tower features a glockenspiel that goes off at 11am and 5pm and is something definitely worth witnessing.

If you like castles and palaces, you won't be disappointed in Munich. Schloss Nymphenburg is one of the most famous sites in all of Munich. This beautiful Baroque palace was the summer residence of the rules of Bavaria, and it features stunning art, even on the walls. It also has an impressive park, and the combination of the park and the palace make it a popular spot to visit. Also be sure to visit Schloss Schleißheim, also a Baroque palace, and Residenz, the old castle found in the City Centre.

Alte Pinakothek is one of the best-known museums in Munich as well as in Europe. It houses quite an impressive collection of 14th through 18th century art created by the world's best artists: Rembrandt, Botticelli, Da Vinci, and much more. You can honestly find a museum for any art style in Munich, and there are a variety for some interesting subjects, such as the BMW Museum, the Jewish Museum, and one of the largest technology museums in the world, Deutsches Museum.

The Munich Zoo is one of the most popular spots in the city. This zoo is actually one of the world's largest, and there so many exotic animals roaming in their natural habitats. What makes this zoo so special is the fact they are a geo-zoo, a zoo that keeps animals in communities, so you get the experience of exploring a nature preserve or going on a safari.

There is so much more than this small list of things to do in Munich. Do some research, and while you're creating the perfect itinerary, apply for your passport by filling out a pass port application. If you need another service, there are applications for those too, such as the United States online passport renewal form.
