These are the two elderly men who sit in the balcony and fire off one-liners throughout the show. If you love slap-stick, dry humor, you'll LOVE Waldorf and Statler. To keep them straight just remember "W" for Waldorf is also "W" for white hair, and wide face.

It's hard to explain exactly because it's mostly a feeling I get while watching them. The Muppets remind me of happy and light-hearted times. They also confirm in my soul that it's good to laugh at silliness.

My entire family loves the Muppets - no matter what age and that's another reason why they are #1 with me. Even though the original Muppets were created for children, there are always bits of humor most appreciated by adults. In fact, since The Muppet Show doesn't air on television any longer, I find most Muppet Fans ARE ADULTS. Muppet humor is hilarious, top quality and maintains complete innocence. No other production company can accomplish this in my opinion.

What must it have been like to know Muppet creator, Jim Henson (1936-1990)? I can only conclude that he was a soft spoken man who had a deep appreciation for fun and silliness. Thank you Jim Henson for the Muppets.
