My aim is not to brag but I really would like people to know how easy it can be to improve their health, looks and confidence...Spoken by someone who once never had these attributes!

What changed my life?

I won't bore all you like minded people with all the INS & outs of my life. But, my story is this.
After several years of dabbling with keep-fit regimes and keeping myself relatively fit (most of the time), I encountered a big problem with my health. I sustained an injury whilst out one night, fooling around with friends. I fell badly and injured my shoulder, dislocating it. Wow did that hurt! ...A few months on I was still receiving a lot of grief from my injury. It would dislocate in my sleep whilst turning over, real nice surprise to wake up to!

My keep fit regime/s had all gone out the window and I began feeling down about my lack of inactivity, deteriorating health and obvious weight gain. I was unable to work to due my injury and was signed off permanently until I could get myself fixed. When I say "get myself fixed", what I actually mean is wait for my turn for surgery on the NHS. Being a Welder/Fabricator for most of my life, I lacked the skills to be able to get any kind of an office job. Any manual work was obviously out of the picture!

A year and a half dragged by slowly and painfully and needless to say by this time I was a physical wreck! I had put on about 3 stone and the muscle content of my body was pretty much non-existent!

Operation successful! Incapacitated for 5 weeks, physio for 4 months. Got my life back!

Looking in the mirror, I thought to myself...This is it! Time to get fit and healthy again!

Never again did I want to go through any of what had happened to me in the last 2 or so years! My aim was to become fitter, healthier and stronger than I'd ever been. I told myself "The stronger I am the less chance there is of becoming injured again".

This is where it all changed!

What to do & where to start

"Where do I start?" I thought to myself. I knew how to keep fit and the steps I would need to take to get myself at least back up to scratch, but this time it was harder...ALOT HARDER!
My weight was a real issue, strength had disappeared. I NEEDED HELP!

I started back at my local gym, a few months passed, but it just wasn't happening for me. I started trawling the internet for training programs, fitness schemes, anything really that would help me get back to normal. There really is a lot out there too! A lot of cowboys looking to make a fast buck selling false programs to vulnerable people who are just trying to better themselves (Believe me, I found out the hard way!). I wish to comment honestly about some of these people and their monkey businesses, but I don't think any of my words could be publishable!

However, there are a lot of decent training guides and regimes out there that are proven to work, and depending on what you are after and what you want to achieve, are easily affordable and will get you to where you want to be.

I had found everything I wanted and needed on the Internet and decided to spend a few quid on a few sites and get hooked up to some programs that were going to help me. Firstly, strip away all that unwanted fat; then, guide me to start building up some muscle again.

I was on my way!

Where I am now

Well, to cut a long story short. I started training harder than I had ever trained before. Following the steps advised I take by these new guides I began to lose the weight (the fat) I had accumulated. It was almost as if I had my own personal trainer there spurring me on. The energy I now had to better myself and get to where I wanted to be was like nothing I had ever experienced before. If only that feeling could be bottled, and sold, I'm pretty sure I would be a rich man by now!

Training became easier and easier, the stronger and fitter I became the more I wanted achieve and the further I wanted to take myself. The weight started flying off and I felt myself becoming firmer in all the right places (The misses can confirm this!). I began to feel more and more confident and the close people around me would comment on the changes they were seeing. I felt strong, healthy, energetic, full of life, content, the list goes on....

About 3 years since this all began; I was not only back, but better than before! About 6 months of effort and dedication and searching for the right route out, I had finally made it!

I am still going strong now and will never turn back. No more injuries for me...Fingers crossed!

How YOU can get there!

I strongly believe that we all have the strength to overcome these kinds of setbacks that life occasionally throws at us. We just need that one thing that motivates us to get to where we truly want to be. With a bit of sweat and determination, anyone, regardless of age, condition of health, level of self confidence, can and will make a better, healthier life for themselves. Heck, if I can do it, "You can do it!"

Everyone has different methods and alternate motivational resources required to be successful in regards to their health. We just need to search for these methods. Try a few, if they don't work, try another few. There is a program or programs out there waiting for you right now, ready to get you to where you want to be. Why wait?

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It is good to know that people are interested. Without sounding arrogant or big-headed, I hope my story may be inspirational to others.

We all have inner strengths we may not be aware of, these just need the chance to show themselves and take us to places we never would have thought possible!!

    Inspiring story buddy. Good on you! Checked out your link to see what all the hype was about and seeing as i'm...sorry, seeing as i "was" in quite the same boat you was in, bought the program. I've now lost a stone n a half n started to tone up quite a bit. Can see how it worked for you, though i was dubious. Let you know when i look like the bloke at the top of the page! haha.
