The real attraction of music is the power and sensuality of the live sounds it brings to the human body.

It is proven that music directly affects surgeons and patients, friends and family in waiting rooms, some are seeking to scientifically find out how music directly affects the human body. Multiple findings offer further proof that businesses actually benefit, not suffer, from a musical environment. A spokesperson for MusicWorks said, "Anything which can assist this should be embraced." Music is the richness of the human art. It was the genius of Beethoven who declared that 'Music is truth'. Some studies show that soft, background music (Baroque, Mozart, etc.) may actually enhance learning and test-taking in right-brain learners. However, Mozart is not the most popular music that students have downloaded on their iPods.

Music exhibited no significant influence on the mental. The psychological perception of effort was not altered with or without the music stimulus, although subjects felt they performed better with the music.

It may come as no surprise that enjoying music is the world's top pastime. Music coms from the heart or is the method to get it there. Music can alleviate pain caused by exercise, making working out more pleasurable. "Music is integral to exercise," explains the head of London's Gymbox chain, Richard Hilton. "We even have live DJs. We've never measured the effect scientifically, but it definitely creates an uplifting mood that people love.

Playing music helps a student become more self-disciplined and able to control their behavior better, because it provides an acceptable form of self expression. A student who is having difficulty concentrating may find it easier when music classes has been added to the curriculum. Have you ever taken the time to listen to how quickly a child picks up the lyrics from a song they like, or even how quickly they memorize the music that is played on their video games? Music helps a child's memory in addition to other things.

In 1994, a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that surgeons' accuracy and speed when performing a taxing mathematical task improved when they played their own music rather than a piece chosen by the researchers, 'Pachelbel's Canon'.

To test the effects of background music in the operating rooms, Dr Conrad tested eight surgeons under three different musics. Mozart, German folk music and death metal. Interestingly that increased the time it took them to proceed, but not their accuracy.

So, the benefits of music in the workplace is pretty straight forward and quick to recognize. It increases workplace productivity, generates fewer accidents, improves alertness, and creates team interactions.
