1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top Guitar Auction
Hey vintage guitar fans how would you like to win a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top electric guitar? Yah, me too.I was just updating this here vintage guitar lens (since it would soon qualify as vintage itself if I didn't) and I noticed an auction for that fore mentioned '52 Gibson Gold Top - whew what a beauty and for only $45,000 what a deal eh?
Well if that doesn't fit your budget I figured a slick modern rendition of the Les Paul Standard Gold Top might look mighty nice below that vintage '52 original. So I posted a pic and tucked my dream under my pillow for the tooth fairy. (I'd probably have to lose all me teeth tho to get that baby under my pillow)

"All in all, If you are looking for a quality Gibson sound at an affordable price, Epiphone is the way to go. More specifically, If you are after an Epi LP I would definitely recommend going with one from their Les Paul Custom line (which is what the Silverburst falls under). They are about double the cost, but the attention to detail is palpable."
