This is a variation of the 'dancing to their own tunes'. I believe that songs sung by Bollywood Music Directors are superior in quality to the songs that a playback singer would render. His songs took Bollywood with storm. Some day I will make a lens of his best songs sung by other playback singers. Today, just listen to the wonderful sings he sang to his own tunes.

Listening to 'Beqarar Dil, Tu Gaye Jaa' is a surreal experience. The song is filmed on Ashok Kumar. Kishore Kumar's brother. The strange thing is that Kishore Kumar is present in the scene throughout (the beared chap) and one keeps expecting that he would burst into the song any time.
