Woods

WoodsWoods is a Idie/Folk/Lo-Fi from New York. This isn't your average rock band of today. They have a retro vibe that makes you feel the folksy side of music and it's reminiscent of the music your parents probably got high to. That isn't to say they're not modern, they just have a classic sound you're sure to love.

Thanks for sharing. There is nothing better than finding new music that isn't all that easy to find.

What a great idea for a lens! I have heard of some of these - but that's because of streaming particular npr radio station. For the best of all types of music including indie, classic rock, folk and the greatest mixes I highly recommend wfuv.org. Of particular note is Vin Scelsa's Idiot's Delight (Saturday eves, 8 to 10 pm). Vin also has a show on sirius. The man is amazing - he can mix classics from the 1920s, rock, indie, jazz and classical with incredible insight. Recent shows are archived so you can check fuv anytime.
