Music is my Everything

There is a right music for everyone. When you are in love, you will most likely listen to love songs. If you just got your heart broken, you will spend your time listening to heart breaking songs.

Music for me is everything. Everywhere I go there's got to be music. It helps me to be able to do my work properly. It helps me loosen up and think well.

Music has been my constant companion. I can't seem to last a day without pumping up the volume of my player. My addiction to music started way back in my elementary days. My sister introduces me to the Canadian rock diva Alanis Morissette. I grew up listening to her music. It was only in my early teens that I started listening to 80s music. I realized that I am more into 80s music rather into alternative kind of music. Most of my friends would often tell me that I am such an oldie because of the music I dig.

I actually listen to almost all kinds of music genre. Pop, alternative, reggae, acoustic, and my favorite 80s music. When you try to listen to my player you will most likely to hear the music of Tiffany, Madonna, Debbie Gibson, The Jets, Heart, Martika, Sheena Easton, and Roxette. I am also a huge fan of Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and Celine Dion. I just can't help but be mesmerized with the great voice these three divas has.

As the line of the song goes "Let the music heal your soul", music does really heals the soul. It can touch the innermost part of the human body.

Debbie Gibson

Debbie made a huge success during the 80s. Of course everyone of us knows that, right? Born as Deborah Gibson on August 31, 1970 in Long Island New York, she scored a string of hits when she was still 17 years old. Although her success didn't last that long Debbie Gibson was the youngest artist ever to have written, performed, and produced a number one song. The songs that made it big in the charts during the 80s are "Foolish Beat" and "Lost In Your Eyes".

Tiffany

Just like Debbie Gibson, Tiffany was phenomenal during the 80s. Tiffany Renee Darwish was born on October 2, 1971 @ Norwolk California. Her professional singing career was on 1981 with the country singer Jack Reeves . She passed a hat to the crowd after performing and collected $235 to make it her first career earning. It was on 1984 when she signed her first recording contract with George Tobin. Tiffany released her first album on 1987 and instantly gained popularity. Hits after hits, Tiffany was named the youngest female artist to have a number one debut album in the billboard. Her career suffered when her manager and her mother and stepfather battled over the control of her career and earnings. Since then Tiffany never regained the "Teen Queen" popularity. She made several come back attempts but all of the albums she released never made it big.

Madonna

Madonna will always remain a music icon for decades to come. Her contribution to the music industry is unquestionable. She was able to maintain her very successful career over the past years. She always tried to reinvent herself to suit the latest trend in music. Millions of people still wait for her next concert schedule, it only proves that Madonna fever is still alive. Born Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone on August 16 1958 in Bay City, Michigan. Her mother died when she was only 6 years old due to breast cancer. Her music career starts when she was signed by Sire Records in 1982. Her first album named "Madonna" was released the following year. She and Hollywood actor Sean Penn got married in 1985 and after 4 years their marriage ended in a divorce. She won her first Grammy in 1992 for Best Music Video in "Long Form" under the Madonna album. It was also in 1992 when signed Time Warner to create Maverick, her own record label. Since then Madonna has been unstoppable.

Bangles

Their original band name was actually "The Supersonic Bangs" then later changed it to "Bangs". They have to changed their band name again after a band from New Jersey which have the same band name threatened to sue them, so finally they settle for the "Bangles" as their permanent band name. The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1981. Their biggest hit was the song entitled "Eternal Flame" the group split shortly after releasing the song due to friction between the group. They have a total of 4 full length album and 1 greatest hits album. Their song "Manic Monday" was written by Prince, it became #2 in the United States, Germany, and United Kingdom. Their most successful album was released in 1988 called "Everything", it became a huge hit and went multi platinum. It also contained their biggest hit "Eternal Flame" that became #1 world wide. On August 2007, the band released their first official, live DVD called, Return of Bangleonia - Live in Concert.

80s Hairstyles

I am sure you all know what kind does the 80s people had. Looking at the 80s artists, they seem to have a common hairstyle. Personally, every time I look at the 80s artist, I can't help but laugh. I find their hairstyle unique. Most of the girls likes to have bangs. Some liked it huge making their heads looks so big.

Anyways, I have found this site that features 80s hairstyles.

Hi, nice lens. I work in a night shift and music makes me stay awake all night. But the kind of music I listen to depends on my mood.
