My all time favorite movie is The Lost Boys a vampire movie from the 80's
I think it has everything.you could want in a movie
Horror, Humor, Action,Romance.
You name it, it's in it.
Released in 1987, it starred, among others:-
Corey Haim, Jason Patric, Corey Feldman and Keifer Sutherland
It also has a fantastic soundtrack that features INXS, Jimmy Barnes, Echo and the Bunnymen,
and lots more
While the sequels have not done so well, the original Lost Boys still goes on
and has a very strong cult following

Basic plot outline from The Lost Boys
A single newly divorced mother, her two boys and the dog, movie to live with the boys Grandfather (who has no TV but reads the TV guide "Read the TV guide, don't need a TV!".
He lives in Santa Carla on the California coast.
As the boys find their way around, the youngest, ends up at a comic book store and meets two would-be vampire hunters.
The oldest, falls for a girl and gets in with a crowd of older teenage boys and their motorcycle gang.
After the youngest brother finds out that his older sibling is turning into a vampire, he recruits his new comic book store friends and they set out to hunt for the Head Vampire, believing this will stop his brother turning fully.
The movie is full of great one-liners, action set pieces and some gruesome horror moments (nothing too bad tho, not by today's standards)
The soundtrack kicks along well, and all the actors put in great performances. I may be biased but I can't fault it at all.
I have watched this movie close on 100 times and have never bored of watching it.

It's my all time favorite movie so of course I have to recommend it!! If you don't have it or have never seen it, then WHY NOT???
It's awesome and really stands the test of time.
