Tired of the same old Halloween Party?
BOO!! So I heard there was a Giant Squid Halloween Contest (2008)..... and I was asked to submit a lens. But, wanting to be different and me, well being me, I decided to make this my * ahem * Halloween lens entry!
.... somebody I know is gonna be rolling her eyes!

Contents at a Glance
Decorate, decorate, decorate
Put up some decorations, but absolutely no orange or black, and since Christmas is coming, why not kill two birds, oops I mean pumpkins, with one stone?Why not decorate the christmas tree, which is just around the corner anyhow, although you will have to now go out and buy one somewhere, and don't forget to hang some wreaths, and hey, why not put up the christmas lights on the house while you are at it too!
See, you can always be ahead of everyone else!
Create a Yummy Menu
Organize a delicous meal, buffet or sit down dinner, filled with yummy recipes. Plan the pre-party snacks too, but remember no Halloween stuff ok?Yes, yes, you can have orange food.
How about some carrots, you can make 'em fancy and make wee carrot sticks.
Cheddar cheese would be fun, you can cut them into all kinds of shapes. You can even have them with orange Ritz crackers!
For dessert, you can have a fruit salad made from oranges.
Oh dear, I think I have strayed too far and forgot da rules.... scratch the orange food!

Watch a Movie
Please be advised that the Halloween movie series is NOT allowed!Hey, this is an anti-halloween party, remember?
What is allowed is to put on a scary movie or an action movie, and if your guests are mostly couples at your party, perhaps a nice romantic movie.
Note: This one is not a romantic movie LOL ------>
I'll even allow watching TV, just no Halloween movies or specials, ok?
Costume Party
Costume parties are such a blast.A Pirate is allowed, cuz even though pirates are a popular halloween costume, pirates are cool! Besides, it's my lens and I can do what I want! LOL
Maybe have a a contest, with prizes of course, for the best dressed costume!
Dress up, but don't you dare look like a pumpkin!

Play Games or Sing Songs
Play board games, play cards, heck play Twister (now that's an oldie but goodie). You could even have a karaoke contest.Hey, I know, why not sing Christmas Carols? I mean, you are decorating the tree ....... aren't you?
Do I have to keep reminding you this is an anti-halloween party, you have to focus on that!

- I've seen a couple of houses already decorated for Christmas - they skip right by Halloween. Then again, they have their decorations up all year. Don't get those people, but they keep it interesting! Squid Angel blessed.

- Halloween is not very big here in Australia (thankfully - it's not my favourite!) and I heard on the radio today that people were starting to put out their Christmas decorations ... they must have been reading your lens!
