Im going to be totally honest:)



The first 2 or three years that the Ipod came out I was highly prejudiced against it and hated it.
Dumb invention, stupid circular scrolling wheel to select your music. Bleh!

Then my friend got one and I played around on it for a bit and found it was rather easy to use.:)

I was on holiday about two years ago and say the 30GB video version of the Ipod tax free at an airport and I had some extra money so I thought Why Not??

Ever since then Ive been using it faithfully when I go to the gym, playing my favourite tunes while working out and also when I go running.
Probably one of the better investments Ive made:)

The great news is that there is an enormous range of Ipods, in all sorts of colours, sizes and prices to suit your budget from as low as $47 up to $500.

Personally I have a 30GB Black Video Ipod, it cost me about $400 and I am really satisfied with it. I bought myself a stylish leather holder so my Ipod is protected and I can clip it onto my belt.

If you take good care of it, keep it in its cover and don't lose it out of your sight, then your iPod will last you easily 10 years or more, and I really get a lot of listening and viewing pleasure from it.

One of the main uses I have for my Ipod is when I go running or when Im training at the gym. You can go 2 routes, one is a protective casing for your iPod with a belt clip, but even better is a strap so you can fix your iPod to your wrist so that you have both hands free.

Taking good care of your iPod is essential for its lifespan, because obviously you don't want to buy a new iPod every year:)

A strong protective casing is what you'll want, but something that is not going to make the ipod unusable.
