My Christmas Card

Here at My Christmas Card I want to share with you some of the great hymns which mean so much to me and to countless others around the world.

We open with O Come, O Come Emmanuel which is the prayer we raise during the Advent period that Christ will come to us.

Then we move on to sing the great hymn of the Angels as they proclaim the birth of the Son of God and we echo their great Gloria in Excelsis Deo or Glory to God in the Highest before we give praise because Unto Us Is Born A Son

Then we move on to three of my favourite Carols, Silent Night, the moving Away in A Manger and then the rousing Adeste Fideles (O Come All Ye Faithful).

Finally we move on to conclude with the great prayer of praise to Our Lady, Mother Of God and Mother of us all. This was one of my parents favourites and even today it moves me to tears as the first note sounds. Beautifully sung by Russell Watson and I am sure you will enjoy Ave Maria
