My dreams and wishes

Updated list, January 2012

* I would like my "secret" dream to come true.
* I would like my friend F. to be happy and healthy as often as possible.
* I would like to publish a book and be number 1 in the Bestseller book list.
* I would like to publish five bestsellers in a row.
* I would like to live in a big house with a room just for being creative.
* I would like to feel respected.
* I would like to meet Lucy Lawless.
* I would like to be on the set of The Hobbit.
* I would like to be on a nice, beautiful river.
* I would like to find some beautiful feathers.
* I would like to take great photos.
* I would like to have more time.
* I would like to earn more money for my work.
* I would like to earn money by writing about things I know a lot about.
* I would like to learn a new, useful skill.
* I would like someone to be interested in spending time with me.
* I would like to feel accepted by people.
* I would like to visit a Zoo.
* I would like to own a Xena outfit.
* I would like to watch Sailor Moon and Utena again.
* I would like to read some manga.
* I would like to live with someone who has a deep respect for me.
* I would like to see more seagulls.
* I would like to see more Tui and birds in general.
* I would like to find a great tree to climb on and read on.
* I would like to have one whole day off each week.
* I would like to win around $25,000 in the lottery.
* I would like to be happy.
* I would like a hug, a proper one.
* I would like to inspire people to follow their dreams.
* I would like my dreams on this list to come true.

The list has been up for many months now and I'm not sure whether it really helps or not. I did find many nice feathers during a stay with a friend - and during that short time I actually did live with someone who respects me. I received a very nice hug from that person, saw many birds, even held some in my own hands - but the time ended and it might never happen again. Maybe I made some mistakes in how I put my wishes, maybe I should put something like "for a long time"?

I got a little job, writing about astrology - and that's a topic I really like. It's really nice to write about something you're interested in and even get paid for it :)

July 28th, 2011: I would have needed to buy some expensive books for courses I am doing, but a friend of mine had both of the books I needed and she gave them to me so I could use them for the semester and then return them. I think that would count as "useful freebie". Good start. Let's show me what else you can do, universe!

August 2nd, 2011: The captain of the riverboat Adventurer II asked me whether I'd be interested in going up the river on his boat for four days. that's my chance to be on the river!

August 14th, 2011: unfortunately the river trip has not happened, so this needs to be back on the list.
