The Law of Attraction - How To Manifest Change in Your Life
To me, the Law of Attraction is basically the law of life in general. It is the law of love. It's how geese know how to fly in a V shape and it's how we keep moving through our lives every day. It is the law of love. Without it, and I want you to think about this - without it - what would there be???
That might sound silly to ask. But if you really think about it, what would there be without love?
Sure, I guess we could live and breathe, but without love in your world, it wouldn't mean anything at all! We'd probably just be a bunch of zombies walking around, lol!.
Love is all there is and The Law of Attraction really does come down to the law of love itself. Somewhere, deep down inside, even if you're skeptical of it, you know this is true. Love is really all there is...

LOVE
Everything negative is a lack of LOVE. In Rhonda Byrne's book, "The Power", she explains it this way:Let's say you have a glass that's half filled with water; the water in the glass represents the positive and the air in the glass represents the negative; there is absolutely no way to take the negative air out of the glass WITHOUT filling the glass with the positive water.
Everything needs love to grow. You must fill it up with love, whether it's your life or your thoughts or your marriage or your job to get a good result. Negatives can not be removed, they can only be filled with love to make them disappear.
There are many negative things in the world today. You can focus on what's wrong with your world and get more of it. Or, you can focus on what's right with your world and how you want your life to be from this point forward and get more of that.
Looking back at my life - I'm 48 - I can see that I have manifested many things that I wanted by focusing my attention on them. Within this webpage (or lens for Squidooers) I will be adding stories from time to time of my own personal manifestations that I'd like to share. Once I realized the Law of Attraction was working in my life and I actually tried to manifest things, it absolutely astounded me what I could do.
I read "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne about a three years ago and, simply put, I feel this book has made me realize that the Law of Attraction has always worked in my life.
Even if you've never heard of the Law of Attraction, I hope you will keep an open mind, and possibly at this point take a few moments and look back on your life to see where you have focused your thoughts and attention to see where you are today before you begin. It may not always be obvious to you how you have actually created your life, but nevertheless, it is true.

Mike Dooley quite simply rocks!
If you are into the Law of Attraction, you probably know him well. If you've never heard of him, he is one of the teachers in The Secret and has some amazing information and insights into the way the world works and using the Law of Attraction.
His books and CD's are life changing. I just love listening to him and find his way of looking at the world quite incredible and find it very spiritually uplifting. His perspectives on life and the way it works may seem a little offbeat to start, but I think at some point during either listening to his CD's or reading his books, a lightbulb goes on and you will finally understand the universe a little better and be a little closer to figuring out what we're all doing here, lol!
If you're struggling with things in your life, please look into Mike's amazing teachings. He is one of the people who changed my life and I can highly recommend with confidence that if you open your heart and mind to his way of thinking about the universe, you will be a happier person for it.

- It is changing my life today! Slowly, gradually I am beginning to create my own life, the one I want to have. The law of attraction is one of the Master Laws of the Universe.

Just Say Thanks...
Studies have been done to show that people who speak up and say "thank you" out loud rated their relationship as stronger and themselves as more likely to respond to their partner or friend's needs without expecting something in return.
It has been proven by researchers that a simple thank you will inspire the giver as well as the receiver and propel couples in an upward spiral of increasing appreciation and willingness to help each other.
Why not try it, what have you got to lose? A few thank yous???
About Me
My Story (well, the first one anyway - more to follow at a later date...)
Story #1: How I started intentionally manifesting things into my life
In "The Secret", Rhonda Byrne suggests starting with trying to manifest small things to show yourself how these things can and will come into your life. She recounts a story of a man who wrote to tell her that he did just that by trying to imagine a unique feather.The story goes on to say that he concentrated on this unique looking feather in his mind and one day shortly thereafter he was in New York City and as he was about to enter a high rise building, he turned around and looked up and saw the exact feather that he had been thinking of floating through the air and it landed right next to him!
I don't know about you, but for this I have no words except, just astounding and jaw dropping as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't necessarily classify myself as a skeptic because I have a strong faith in God and feel the presence of angels in my life. But even with my strong beliefs, I wouldn't exactly call myself someone who believes everything she sees and hears.
So, after reading this I thought I would try to manifest small things into my life beginning with a blue rubber ball. So far, even though it may sound like I am crazy to you (and me too, lol!) they have all come into my experience and given me goose bumps every single time.
I try to think of unique and unusual things to concentrate on, something I don't necessarily think of at all on a daily basis, so that this way when it appears I know it has come into my life through my thoughts and I prove to myself that the Law of Attraction works every time.
If you are interested in reading about some of the things I have manifested, please read on. If not, you may feel the need to just call me nuts and leave this lens and I honestly wouldn't blame you.
However, I will say this - I have absolutely no reason to lie, I know you don't know me, but except for little white lies that everybody tells like, "Oh no, you're not overweight!" to a friend that's gained a few pounds, as a rule in general I don't lie.
I realize now that throughout my life I have manifested some rather wonderful things through concentrating on them, praying for them to come into my life, and having a true desire for them and those stories I think will come later in this lens because at the time I manifested them I had no idea I was doing so. That being said, I'd like to start by listing all of the small things that I have manifested into my life since reading "The Secret" and learning about the Law of Attraction and its principles.
I will start with the story of how I manifested a blue rubber ball. As suggested in "The Secret" I started my manifestation trials with small things because I wanted them to be completely attainable in my mind. In writing these things down I realize how bizarre it may sound to you because as I'm writing I am getting goosebumps just thinking about it when they happened, but here they are.
The Story of the Blue Rubber Ball: Recently I worked in an office doing data entry. The room was about 40 ft. x 30 ft. with wooden floors and approximately 15 work stations that were approximately 2 ft. x 3 ft. with computers on each one. In addition, the room had tight security because we work with people's private documents so we needed card keys to enter the room as it was locked at all times.
I thought of a blue rubber ball because I was thinking of my Cockapoo,Tucker, who loves blue rubber balls. After trying to manifest a blue rubber ball into my life for maybe a day or two one of the people I work with picked up a blue rubber ball (chills) off the floor under one of the workstations a few feet down from mine, and said, "Does anyone know who this belongs to?" I did a double take, I sort of internally freaked out and couldn't believe it and wasn't even going to say a word because in essence it didn't belong to me, BUT since no one else said anything in response to his question, I actually did then believe I somehow manifested it, and told him it was mine... so I took it home and gave it to Tucker.
This is not what you could call a coincidence and it actually scared me initially after it happened. At some point I thought the men with the little white coats were going to come and take me away, lol! Even though that sounds funny now, it's the truth. It still gives me goosebumps to think about it. After realizing it worked, I went on to testing it out on more unusual things.
How I Got My First "Real" Job
Story #2
When I think back to when I applied for the job that I had for 10 years and loved, I realize now that the Law of Attraction was in play.I graduated from a two-year business college in June of 1983 and through a temp agency went to work for a small company that was doing incredibly well financially. When I started as the receptionist I still had a basic typewriter and was answering a multi-line switchboard, that's how long ago this was, lol! Anyway, after three months of my trial employment I was hired by the company to work as an executive secretary for the vice president. I learned so many things while with this company for the four years that I stayed.
At some point though, I started to feel the need to grow and wanted to work for a larger company so I started applying to different firms and interviewing with bigger companies. There was one job interview I went on that seemed like a good fit for my job skills but when I got to the interview there were about ten other people waiting to interview for the same position.
I thought at first that I didn't have a chance but after the my interview was over realized that I really, really, really wanted this job and I didn't care who else was competing for it. I am not a competitive person, however, I just knew that this was the job for me and made a mental decision that nothing was going to stand in my way of going for it. I also became very focused and started imagining in my mind how if would feel to work for this company and mentally playing out over and over again what a typical day would be like there.
Long story short, if it's not too late for that, lol!, I got the job. After the interview was over, I made it a specific point to ask the woman who interviewed me when a decision would be made because I knew there were so many people going for the job and didn't want to sit around waiting to hear nothing. She told me that I could call at a specific time on a specific day of the week to find out if I got it.
I called at the time specified and the decision had not yet been made according to her assistant... I called the next day and asked to speak to her directly. After waiting a few minutes I got her on the phone. She said she hadn't had time to make the decision and to call back in a day or so to speak with her. At that point, very out of character for myself, I told her how much I liked the company and I really wanted the opportunity to work for them. I think that made me stand out for some reason because when I called back the next time it was for my final interview and I was offered the position!
