Fantasy Football Comes to God's Grace Notes
Okay, Ladies....I know you're all shaking your heads....What is she THINKING?
Fantasy Football? That doesn't sound like it has much to do with God's Good Plan for our lives!
Sure, it does! Anything that has anything to do with creating great family time is EXACTLY what God's Good Plan is all about.
I enjoy watching a good game, and the Super Bowl is always a must; but the guys at our house are HUGE fans of the game...all season long!
They can spout stats about their favorite teams and players like I crank out stats about shopping, crafting and scrapbooking.
So, in the spirit of family camaraderie, I'm building my very first football lens!
Of course, when I think of football season, I think of activities for the kids, crafts for me, football for the guys...and snacks for everybody! So, I invite you to join me in turning football season into a family affair...
I'll be sharing some fun crafts for the kids, some artsy projects for the crafty folks, and of course; some of my favorite football snacks and treats for the whole family...
I'll leave the football up to the guys, and together; we'll make this season an event to remember!
It's going to be a lot of fun, so let's get started, shall we?

The kids will love making their very own football team with these easy to make paper players...Join us on game day as we craft the players of our Fantasy Team!
What fun to create uniforms for the Fantasy Team at YOUR house! Just check with your resident football expert about colors, player numbers, and who plays what position!

Bacon Breadsticks Dredged in Parmesean/Romano Cheese
Watch Out For Falling Cheese Crumbs!
This is sure to become an all-time favorite finger food at your house too...
They require some assembly; so you will want to prepare these ahead of time...that is, unless of course; you're one of those gals who would rather cook while the game is underway.
Either way; cooking, crafting and enjoying the game together as a family will be so awesome...you'll create a family legacy without even realizing it!
Bacon Breadsticks Recipe
1-lb package of thin-sliced bacon
1 package of sesame breadsticks
1 large container of grated Parmesan/Romano cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
Pour the grated cheese into a rectangular casserole dish
Wrap the bacon slices around the breadsticks
(wrap the bacon around one end of the breadstick and "roll" it...wrapping it tightly around the breadstick)
Dredge the wrapped breadstick in the cheese; shaking off the excess
Place the breadsticks on a microwave bacon dish
Microwave on high for 1-3 minutes; depending on your microwave
Remove and dredge in the cheese again...Careful; they will be REALLY hot!
For easy serving; stand them in a container...
(like pencils in a cup) otherwise they will stick together, and won't serve nicely.
Remember...presentation is everything!
